- all the kittens homes are arranged now. The two does are looking to be ivory and showing no signs of points, 1 of the bucks is clearly self golden now while two of the bucks are darkening nicely. The Siamese is still nice and dark and staying... (and gained the name of Icarus).

- the kittens are becoming more and more independent and as you can see by the 4th photo, they are showing a bit of interest in trying to hump each other! As they are big kittens, they will be weaned within the next 2 days and the bucks will move in with Prudence's bucks and the does in with Prudence's does. It's still possible to see the 3 different colours in the litter and I've decided the only one staying from this litter is the dark Siamese buck. The rest will shortly be allocated to people on my waiting list.

- you can clearly see 3 different shades now and a couple have their eyes open while a few are still squinty. The darkest one is clearly agouti based now and two of them look very white at present. All of the bucks have tiny black 'ball-spots'

- with the fact that golden seems to be a simple recessive which only works on the c locus, all kittens should be golden based. The darker kitten is the golden Siamese buck, while at this stage the lighter ones may or may not develop points so could be Himalayan or white
