- all kittens are confirmed for their new homes and most
leave next weekend. All the kittens seem to have lovely big eyes and are very
chunky and good sized kittens. 3 of them will be staying here to help continue
the lines at Alpha Centauri.

- Cara's babies are very lively now and demanding out and
attention whenever there is anyone in the room. It looks a bit like an
infestation when they all come out at the same time for photos, but they are big
and very beautiful. All are confirmed for homes now.

- the kittens are growing well and all seem to have lovely
eyes. Cara is a very devoted mother who seems to constantly have the milk bar
open for them.

1 week & 6 days old
- Cara only has her own 13 babies now and these are shiny,
stunning little babies. Cara is being an excellent mother and the babies are all
growing well.
6 days old
- 2 days ago, Cara was a little heroine and took on 4 extra
babies from a rescue litter where the mother had died. The hooded babies are a
week older than her own and so tiny in comparison to her own. After giving
Hestia a chance to bump up her milk production for 24hours, I gave her all bar 2
of the rescue hoodies so Cara is looking after 15 instead of the 17. Cara's own
babies don't look like they are giving me any surprises so far, they look to be
either black or agouti and are growing well. Cara is a little angel as a mum and
has been feeding them in two nests to help ensure they are all getting fed.
1 day old
- Cara gave birth
while I was at the Bradford Champs show so I came home to a nest full of well
fed eepers. There are 8 does and 5 bucks, one of the baby bucks had sadly died
overnight, despite having a full belly of milk so suspect he was suffocated in
the pile.
