- Hestia's kittens may have only been a small litter, but they've thrown a few ideas of the theories behind the genetics of the golden Himalayan away! Either Hestia or Atlas must be agouti based for the golden Himalayan doe to be there as she clearly has demarcation lines. They are lovely kittens with great type and big black eyes!

- all the kittens are growing like weeds and really full of it. The hooded kittens have grown in confidence and are very sweet. Hestia's own kittens are nice looking kittens. Most of these kittens are finalised on their homes with the last offer of a pair of the rescues about to be made to someone on my waiting list.

3 weeks & 4 days
- the rescue hooded kittens have now overtaken Hestia's kittens in size and are doing really well. Hestia's own kittens are very sweet and the colours are starting to become more obvious now on the that one is considerably darker and 'golden'.

2 weeks & 2 days
- Hestia is doing a fantastic job of bringing up her extra 9 fosters and her own babies. The hoodies opened their eyes on the 4th Feb confirming them as being 2 weeks old then and they have gone from strength to strength, overtaking Cara's kittens in size and being much closer now to Hestia's own kittens now, although being 4 days younger.

1 week & 2 days old
- Like Cara, Hestia has been a little heroine and taken on foster kittens from a rescue litter where the mum had died. The kittens were around 11 days old on arrival and very tiny. Hestia was initially given 5 of the kittens and then 24hours later I added a further two as I wanted to give her time to increase her milk stimulation. All kittens are growing well and despite being a little bit scatty as a mum - I'm sure she'd be forgetting them and leaving them in shopping centres if she was human! - all the kittens are doing well.

4 days old
- Hestia had a long labour and either I got the days wrong or she had them on day 25, which may have accounted for the problems. Only 6 were born live and only 4 survived overnight but these now look to be thriving.
