- these are becoming very lively beans now and poor Petal has no escape now. She's being a fantastic mum and as you can see from the pics is in lovely condition. Only another few days and she can escape them!

- the babies are growing well and Petal is being a fantastic relaxed but dedicated mother.

1 week & 5 days old
- Petal's kittens are very lively little beans, it proved almost impossible to get them to do a line out for me as they kept moving back into a big pile. Petal is proving to be an excellent mother - she was quite protective for the first couple of days and fluffed at me when I looked in her nest, but now she's happy enough with me handling them in front of her.

1 week & 2 days old
- grabbed a quick sneak photo while mum was off the nest feeding.

5 days old
- Petal gave birth while I was at work to a massive 16 babies! Am betting she definitely doesn't carry anything now and there will be 16 agoutis! She is being a little protective over her babies, but is making a wonderful job as a mother.
