5 weeks & 5 days
- three of the bucks I was unsure about whether they are rex
or double rex now feel like brillo pads for their coat, so I suspect it will
fall out very shortly. All kittens are now reserved and will be off to their new
homes soon. Double rexes from this line tend to be
hairless as adults.

4 weeks & 6 days old
- the kittens are getting quite big now and the bucks have
been separated from does and mums now. I still have 3 bucks I cannot be sure
whether they are double rexes or rexes yet - hopefully they will identify
themselves very soon!

3 weeks & 5 days old
- kittens are all growing well and looking better on the ears
this week as they seem to look less furled over than they were looking last
week. The rexes and double rexes are going bald at the moment as they moult out
their baby coat and this time I'm having really hard problems confirming which
are the double rexes - only 1 has the usual whiskers of a double rex of being
extremely tightly curled to an effect of breaking off, while 3 others are
currently bald, but their whiskers are normal for rex! Both mums seem to really be enjoying sharing their kittens.

- I have merged Fauna and Flora's litters together and both
sisters are looking after them together now and seem happy enough sharing the 19
babies! The babies are all growing well, although the type on some could be
better and some of the dumbo ears are not going to be very close to standard!

- Fauna is being a very relaxed and happy mum. Her kittens
are all growing well and even the little runt is looking like she is catching up
well now. You can see from the mixed pictures just how much lighter the non
golden babies from Flora's litter are.

5 days old
- spot the roans! Yet again I seem to have managed to keep
back roan carriers as there are 4 roan kittens in the litter. All are black eyed
though so chances are one of the parents is a double black eye. As it's not
possible to mix up the roans with the other litter, I've now given over 3 of
these kittens to Flora to bring up making Fauna's life a bit easier with only 12
to raise. I may give Flora a few more yet to even the litters out completely,
but want to give her a chance to build her milk up a bit first.
3 days old
- all the kittens appear to be dark eyed and Fauna is being
a lovely devoted mother to them. I may decide in a few days to share some of
hers over to her sister, but will see how things go.
