- these are really very beautiful babies and so very like
their mum on personality. They all mug your hand for a good licking when you put
it in the cage with them. I spy a definite Orla replacement for the show bench
in this lot so she will be able to finally retire!

- the kittens have returned home to me post my holiday and
are growing well and lovely kittens. There does look to be a couple of real
stunners in this litter.

For the previous 2 weeks, the kittens were fostered out to a friend while I was on holiday, below are a few pictures from that period. Sadly one of the buck kittens died at around 2 weeks old from no obvious cause.
5 days old
- Liath put on a lot of size and weight during pregnancy and
then surprised me with only 9 little porkers and she managed to spread out
birthing them over around 15 hours without showing any signs that anything was
going wrong, so assume nothing did go wrong and it was just the way she wanted
to do things!! All will be British blue and British blue agouti. Despite the
stress of being a mum, she's still being her usual licky self with me.
